Education

Mr. Kaliski graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, Texas in 1994 where he was elected to serve as Student Body President and served as Class Orator his senior year.

He then earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 where he studied Political Science and History. While there, Mr. Kaliski was a member of Emory University’s Political Science Honor Society and was elected to serve as the Society’s President. Through Emory’s Study Abroad Program, Mr. Kaliski also spent a term studying at Oxford University, England in 1996.

Mr. Kaliski attended Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas, and St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio earning his Juris Doctorate in 2002.

Professional Experience

Mr. Kaliski’s practice has taken him throughout the State of Texas where he gained significant experience handling a wide variety of concerns including high-value, complex, commercial litigation matters and catastrophic injury cases. A notable example, Mr. Kaliski served as part of a trial team that successfully obtained one of America’s Annual Top 100 jury verdicts for a toxic tort case where injuries to a family were found to be caused directly by a public landfill.

Mr. Kaliski has also represented hospitals and doctors, large and small non-profits, school districts, churches, and synagogues as well as national trucking/logistics companies and medium to large privately held companies needing assistance with business disputes, injury claims, as well as employment matters. Mr. Kaliski has also taken numerous court appointments in an area of law dear to his heart: Child Protective Services cases where the involuntary termination of a parent/child relationship was at issue.

Mr. Kaliski has been named one of San Antonio’s Best Lawyers by San Antonio Scene Magazine and has had the honor of being Nominated to stand for election to a Texas State District Court. He has served on several non-profit boards including The Rotary Club of San Antonio, The San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind (Treasurer), Catholic Charities Advisory Board, President of The TMI Alumni Association and as Treasurer of the Webb County Bar Association. Mr. Kaliski is also a fourth-generation member of Temple Beth-El in San Antonio, Texas.

Personal

Mr. Kaliski enjoys fishing, hunting, traveling, playing poker, a good joke, and a laugh, but most of all, David enjoys spending time with his wife Debora and their two young children, Max and Ava.
