Mr. Leech attended the University of California at Irvine, where he received his B.A. in 2005. He then attended the University of Texas School of Law where he received his J.D. degree in 2009.
Mr. Leech has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation matters to trial and appeal in both state and federal court. Mr. Leech has represented clients in premises liability, negligence and gross negligence actions throughout Texas. Mr. Leech has also defended hospitals and nursing homes in state and federal courts as well as in arbitrations. Mr. Leech also represents clients under investigation following a fatal or serious on the job work accident. Mr. Leech has first chair jury trial experience and regularly assists lead counsel throughout trial.
Admitted to the Texas Bar 2009; U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
Mr. Leech and his wife, Ameli, have been licensed foster parents since 2014 and are proud parents of their son and daughter. James is active within the San Antonio community through his involvement with coaching youth sports. James is a proud Longhorn while his wife is a proud Aggie, making their home a house divided. Outside his work and involvement with the community, James enjoys trips to the zoo with his children, watching his Longhorns compete in football, basketball and baseball and spending time with his family.
