Ms. Horne attended Texas A&M University, where she received her B.S. in Political Science in 2005. She then attended Texas A&M University School of Law, and received her J.D. degree in 2008.
For the past ten years, Ms. Horne has focused her practice on advising clients with complex healthcare and commercial litigation matters. As an active trial lawyer, she has represented clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in various arbitration forums. Ms. Horne has tried multiple cases resulting in favorable defense verdicts. In addition, she has assisted physicians and nurses before their respective state boards. In 2016, Ms. Horne was awarded the Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation’s Belva Lockwood Outstanding Young Lawyer Award and was selected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

Ms. Horne and her husband, Justin, are the proud parents of two young daughters, Hailey and Hannah. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys reading, jogging, and spending time with her family.
