Before attending law school, Ms. Quiñones was a senior litigation paralegal for a firm in Corpus Christi, Texas, that focused on employment law and civil rights defense. In law school, she served on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal as a Research/Articles Editor, and the Comment she wrote as a Staff Writer was published in the Journal. Ms. Quiñones joined the firm in 2011 and her law practice focuses on healthcare defense, representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, and nursing homes across the State, advising her clients on pre-litigation issues all the way through providing them with a vigorous defense at trial. She also has educated physicians on significant healthcare issues by speaking at Continuing Medical Education seminars. Ms. Quiñones also has defended clients in premises liability, trusts, commercial, and contract matters. Ms. Quiñones was recognized in San Antonio Scene as a “Rising Star Lawyer” in 2018.

Ms. Quiñones is on the Board of Directors (2019-2020) of the Rotary Club of San Antonio. She has volunteered countless hours to other various charitable organizations, such as Transplants for Children, Eva’s Heroes, Snack Paks for Kids, and Dress for Success, and has co-chaired and served on numerous committees. April has also provided pro bono legal services to the indigent through the Bexar County Community Justice Program. Ms. Quiñones enjoys watching sports, live music, and visiting the Coast.
