Professional
Mr. Hudlow has been a practicing attorney in Corpus Christi for 20 years. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Nueces, Kleberg and Kenedy Counties. As a first chair felony prosecutor, he tried a wide range of major felonies, including white collar crimes, public corruption, murder, robbery and sexual assault.
Mr. Hudlow joined HDRHH in 2002, and transitioned his practice to civil litigation. His focus since then has been wrongful death and personal injury litigation, oil and gas litigation, and complex commercial and construction disputes. He also represents clients in OSHA and MSHA investigations and citation contests.
Mr. Hudlow is known as a skilled and effective advocate for his clients. Having tried more than 35 trials to verdict and argued in hearings throughout Texas, his courtroom experience is extensive. Mr. Hudlow has obtained successful resolution for his clients in a wide variety of matters throughout Texas, including cases alleging catastrophic personal injuries, wrongful death, breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, employment discrimination, and non-subscriber claims.
Personal
He was born in Childress, Texas and raised in Maryland. In 1998, Mr. Hudlow returned to the Lone Star State to begin practicing law. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Hudlow and his wife, Veronica, have continued their commitment to public service. Over the years Michael and Veronica have been active volunteers throughout the Coastal Bend. Together they support the community through their work with March of Dimes, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society and the Junior League of Corpus Christi. This coming year, Veronica will serve as President of the Junior League of Corpus Christi. When away from the office, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and their son, traveling and trying to learn country blues guitar.
